- Are my PDF files uploaded anywhere?
- No. The split happens entirely in your browser using JavaScript — your file is never sent to a server. This also means there's no file-size limit imposed by an upload, and it works even with a slow connection.
- Can I extract just a few pages instead of splitting the whole file?
- Yes. Choose "Extract pages" and enter the pages or ranges you want, like "1-3, 5, 8-10" — they'll be combined into a single new PDF in that order.
- What do I get if I split every page?
- Choosing "Split every page" gives you one PDF per page from the original file, delivered together as a single ZIP download.
- Does this work with password-protected PDFs?
- Not currently. If a file is encrypted, it will show an error when added. Remove the password using your PDF reader first, then try again.
